Certificates must reflect actual policy terms
A certificate of insurance is evidence of existing coverage — it cannot create, extend, or modify your policy. If the certificate holder requires coverage terms or limits beyond what your policy currently provides, we may need to endorse your policy first. We'll let you know immediately if that's the case.
