Does my GL policy cover a data breach?
Standard GL policies exclude or severely limit cyber incidents. A dedicated Cyber Liability policy provides meaningful breach response coverage — legal defense, notification costs, credit monitoring, regulatory fines.
What is a claims-made policy?
A claims-made policy covers claims that are made (reported) during the active policy period, regardless of when the incident occurred (subject to a retroactive date). This differs from occurrence policies, which cover incidents during the policy period no matter when reported.
How is EPLI different from Workers' Comp?
Workers' Comp covers physical injuries on the job. EPLI covers employment claims: wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination (race, gender, age, disability), failure to promote, and retaliation.
